Impulsive decision in the middle of tight and tiring day has leaded me to a place that I would love to call it My Narnia. It is like open a wardrobe and finds a totally different world from where I belong right now.

On 30^th December 2005, 8.50 PM, I sat eagerly in a ferry which heading to Batam. Iped loyally sat beside me, trying to keep my hope about Batam not get too high.

Batam is not a tourism city. To be frank, there is a black shadow following Batam’s name. However, I really wanted to see my friends, Antiw and Abduh. Especially Antiw, because it was a year ago we’ve got a plan to meet, but it never get realized. Antiw is my music buddy. We have similar taste in music and we crazy about music.

I was not wrong. Spending New Year in Batam was so fun and relieving, remembering all the bitterness I’ve been through lately. I’ve made new friends, Mbak Henny, Dewi, Yuni, Salmon, Neng and her “Jailangkung” friend… hihihi… It was so delightful meeting these people. You don’t have put effort to having fun with them, simply just be there….and hearing story about Mabduh… :))

New Year 2006 is opened by friends, balloons, laughing, cheering, and bit concern because I lost my camera pocket with 6 rechargeable batteries!!! (But after that somebody found it!!!). First agenda in 2006 was singing until you drop!!! It was so enjoyable to spend 3 hours karaoke in Holliday Inn.
